Getting ready to head back to Paris. /
The last couple years have been daunting with our move from Los Angeles to the bay area. Having to shut the studio down many of the projects that were on the table have just been frozen and boxed. My friends in Paris whom I was working on a collaborative project with. also suffered various hurdles in 2015. But now it's 2016! And time to move forward with our great barrier reef project. Originally it was going to be a giant semi life-sized reef done in multimedia. Resin, glass, and ceramic. Would comprise the giant reef sculpture. Now we have decided to make it more accessible to everybody by creating many reefs. These hanging orbs should be easy to place in about any space that you can imagine.here are some preliminary sketches and use of materials that I'm submitting to my friends there in France. They're doing a go fund me type crowdfunding project to help cover our basic costs and get me to Europe. This is set for the end of May, early June.
